Virology & Sci-Fi: The Twelve Monkeys Connection

This FAQ on Gilliam’s ‘12 Monkeys’ will make no sense if you haven’t seen the movie. But, among the many elements of the film is the spreading of a deadly virus. Since so many viruses cause cold symptoms….OK, it’s a stretch. But the movie does raise interesting speculations about how we would behave as a society to the threat or actual deliberate release of a deadly virus.
